Original comic here
Terezi was cocorosco
Karkat was ambitiousbard
The Blood aspect seems to have do with sociology and community and bridging differences.
Karkat, a blood player, was a mutant, he should have been an outcast, but he made up the difference and kept his team together enough through rivalries and hardships to actually win the game and create a universe.
Kankri is concerned with bridging gaps between different social groups and is infatuated with societal issues. Even if he is incredibly arrogant about it, it’s something he is knowledgable and passionate about.
The Seer class has to do with knowing and informing, usually to help other players with their journeys through the game and otherwise. Rose was immensely helpful with knowing potential outcomes and game functions, and always kept her teammates informed.
Terezi helped support in both minor ways, like talking Karkat through his doubting periods early on, telling Tavros not to give up on Rufio etc, and major ways like ultimately knowing the outcome of Vriska’s escapades and stopping her.
A competent Seer of Blood would have a lot of knowledge about classes and aspects and their teammates as a whole and would be put in place to stop any mental struggles within the team from breaking out through effective communication and keeping them well informed.
We can see the difference in needed Blood players from looking at the cultures their sessions came from.
Alternia was a physically harmful and violently unsound place. Players from that culture needed a Knight of Blood in their session.
Beforus was a socially unsound culture. Players in that session had a more passive Seer of Blood.
The goal for a Seer of Blood would be best summed up as something along the lines of using your knowledge and informing others in order to keep people working together.
And as such, their powers, if skilled, would be having more extra know-how on how to deal with and correct interpersonal struggles.
Rebloggable by request.
Oh yeah, me and my amazing Karkat costume for Halloween. Of course it’s human Karkat because grey paint is too much of a pain for school.
Also counts as highschoolstuck.
